Sheboygan Senior Community is proud to be a 501c3, a faith-based nonprofit. Throughout the years, generous donors helped make our growth and expansion possible. Every donation to SSC assists in retaining our workforce and provides new opportunities for our residents. Because of our donors, we are able to dream big for the future of our campus. We are in awe of the giving nature of Sheboygan County.
All donations to Sheboygan Senior Community and the SSC Foundation are tax deductible.
Commemorate any occasion on our Tree of Life. Whether you are celebrating a wedding, anniversary, or other big life event, these engraved leaves greet each visitors who comes through our main entrance. Many family members choose to honor a loved one by dedicating a leaf in their memory. Whatever you wish to memorialize, the Tree of Life is a great option with incredible visibility.
Donations given on an annual basis are integral to our organization. These reliable gifts help us remain the provider and employer of choice. We could not fulfil our mission of providing compassionate care promoting dignity, safety, and comfort without our faithful donors.
Many gifts we receive are donated on behalf of a resident we cared for like family. One of the profound ways we feel appreciation is when these family members include SSC in memorial messages. We are honored to be invited into your lives and the legacy gifts left in memory of residents are some of the most impactful donations we receive.
Whether it’s a donation through a charitable trust, bequest, or gift of life insurance, planned giving is a critical part of fund development at SSC. Planned giving provides us with diversified funding and long- term support. Often, these gifts allows us to plan for the future and expand upon the donor’s legacy.
As SSC continues to operate with a full census and a growing waitlist, we know growth is in our future. We are actively working with architects, running financials, and creating the next steps for additional assisted living on our 38.5-acre campus. To make this expansion possible, we will rely on the philanthropic nature of Sheboygan County. We will be launching our campaign in the coming months.
Our primary focus is attending to each resident’s medical, nutritional, social, and spiritual needs. Take comfort knowing our team of highly trained professionals in Maple Creek and Oak Drive look after your loved one like family.
Hickory Hills, our short-term rehabilitation household, provides specialized physical, occupational, and speech therapy in our state-of-the-art gym. Our goal is to get you back on your feet as quickly and safely as possible.
We emphasize independence and a full and life-enriching experience in Willow Lane Assisted Living. Our hope is that residents make new friends in a community of people with similar hobbies and interests.
SSC is the provider of choice for so many seniors in Sheboygan County. With scenic views from our newly built facility, our residents are comfortable, well cared for, and engaged in meaningful activities.
