TOL Visitor Area Protocol
1. Booking procedure
- Visits must be booked 24 hours in advance
- Weekend visits must be booked no later than Friday at 4 pm
- We cannot accommodate visits with less than 24 hours advance notice, please don’t ask
- All visits are booked through the receptionists

- Visits will be booked on the hour or half-hour
- Length of visit: 25 minutes each
- Time in between to sanitize – 5 minutes
If a visitor is running late, we ask you to call us as soon as possible. Unfortunately, due to immense interest, late arrivals will not be given additional time.
2. Booking times
- Times: 9:30 am – 4 pm, every day
Restricted times where visits are not offered
- Wed 9:30-11:30 am & Thurs 9:30-11:30 am – no visits due to Life Enrichment programs
- Meal times: before 9:30 am, 11:30-1 pm, 4:30-6 pm – no visits
Willow residents may choose to have indoor visits during their meals if they wish
3. Room set-up
- Use the door to the left of the pergola outside the Tree of Life room, look for signage
o This is right next to the door we’ve been doing window visits
o A visitor monitor, Manager on Duty, or other staff person will be there to check you in
- 1 resident visit per 30-minute time slot
- No age restriction for visitors
- Follow general social distancing protocols put out by the CDC
- There will be seating for 6
- A cell phone will be provided for residents who may have a hard time communicating through the plexiglass
4. Visitor Guidelines
- We will require all visitors to complete a health screen – temperature check and questions
- Masks are required, and please follow general Covid safety protocols
- Restricted to timeframes on the hour and half hour
- No food allowed in
- Presents/gifts must go to the front entrance and will be sanitized
5. Misc. Information
- If you currently have a window visit scheduled, we will still honor that as a window visit. We will only adjust window visits to in-person visits if called.
- Outdoor visits will still be offered – weather permitting
o All outdoor visits will take place under the overhang to the left of the Willow entrance vestibule
